Martha Stewart tested positive.
The lifestyle expert confessed on Tuesday night (21.06.22), saying that while she is “fine,” she is “heartbroken” to be missing a beauty line’s 50th-anniversary celebration.
On Instagram, she wrote to her 3.9 million followers: “This evening, I was going to organize a garden party at The Plaza for my favorite skincare brand, @mariobadescu. However, I regret to inform you that my COVID-19 test was positive.
A video that featured a portion of the setup for the intended garden party was included with the message.
Mother Stewart, 80, said: “I am feeling good, but I am following the rules and isolating.” I have a broadcasting daughter, Alexis, 56, with my ex-husband, Andrew Stewart.
I’m devastated to have to miss the introduction of “The Martha Facial,” a special offer of the facial I’ve been getting at their NYC flagship for more than 40 years and the celebration of over 50 years of great skincare! Salutations to what will undoubtedly be a fantastic evening.
Following her announcement, she has kept up her regular posting schedule on her Instagram account, including recipes and lifestyle advice.
The verified Instagram account for Mario Badescu Skin Care states, “When Mario Badescu was just getting started, he met a young and ambitious woman named Martha Stewart. With her bright skin, excellent nature, and familiarity with all things admirable, this woman not only went on to become a cultural icon for the United States but also a spokesperson for our company.
I’m devastated to be missing the debut of “The Martha Facial” and the celebration of more than 50 years of wonderful skincare in their New York City flagship, Stewart wrote on Instagram. “A special offer of the facial there that I’ve been getting for more than 40 years!” I raise a glass to what I’m sure will be a fantastic event.
Stewart is still close to the company at the age of 80.
She posted on Instagram: “I’m heartbroken to be missing the celebration of over 50 years of excellent skincare and the introduction of ‘The Martha Facial’ at their NYC flagship-which is a special offer of the facial I’ve been getting there for more than forty years.” I raise a glass to what I’m sure will be a fantastic event.
In the aftermath of her statement, she has continued to publish recipes and lifestyle suggestions on her Instagram account as usual.
Stewart took to social media in January 2021 to announce that she had been vaccinated against the coronavirus and encouraged others to do the same.
It comes after “The Big Bang Theory” actress Mayim Bialik, 46, announced on Instagram on Monday (20.06.22) that she had tested positive for COVID.
She cautioned her followers that the virus is “no joke” and claimed she was terrified because of her underlying health concerns, which included asthma and a thyroid problem.
“Hey, folks, I’m not sure if this is clickbait or not, but I have a COVID… and it’s no joke over here,” Balik continued. It’s exhausting, and the tiredness is severe.
“I had mononucleosis in college, and the weariness hits like that where you can’t be awake. You can attempt to stay awake, but then you need to sleep.”
“I’m praying it passes quickly.” I’m trying to believe that my body knows what to do. I have asthma and a thyroid issue, so my immune system is impaired. “
