Google may launch a new smartphone soon in India

A mysterious Google Pixel phone has allegedly appeared on the Indian BIS certification website. The smartphone carries model number GX7AS. The listing does not reveal the device’s name or any specs. According to some online reports, this could be the Pixel 6a phone. The smartphone is likely to launch in the country in May this year.
The last Pixel phone that was launched in India was the Pixel 4a in 2020. Since then, Google has launched the Pixel 5 and Pixel 6 series globally but none of them debuted in the Indian market. It is likely that Google is planning a comeback for Pixel phones in the country. Having said that it is also very unlikely that Google will launch a Pixel phone in India before its global launch.
Past Pixel A-series phones came in August. But, popular tipster Max Jambor earlier said that the Pixel 6a launch may occur earlier this year in May.
