harry potter: Warner Bros to go global with its latest Harry Potter game this year

Warner Bros and Netease has finally decided to bring its latest Harry Potter mobile game — Harry Potter: Magic Awakened — to more regions. The game was announced in September 2021 in Chinese Mainland, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Macau.
Now, the companies have confirmed that they will be launching the game to US, Europe and Oceania territories. As per reports, the game also topped the charts in those regions.
Pre-registration of the game is already live in select regions on both Android and iOS operating systems. To pre-register, players need to open their respective app store, search the game and hit the Pre-register button.
As far as the game is concerned, players will get to experience an entirely different gaming experience with an all-new gaming story at Hogwarts and a chance to explore the wizarding world.
According to Google Play Store listing, “Harry Potter: Magic Awakened is a new card collection game (CCG) and role playing game (RPG) where you take on the role of a first-year student at Hogwarts, joining thousands of players online as you browse the dazzling shops in Diagon Alley, roam the halls at Hogwarts, adventure through the Forbidden Forest, and more!”
The story of the game starts 10 years after defeating ‘You know who’. Here, the player joins the next generation of witches and wizards. The game also comes with several new features, including extensive customisation options and PvP multiplayer mode.

  • Warner Bros hasn’t revealed any official release date for the game yet, but the company has confirmed that the game will launch globally later this year.
