New Delhi: India’s COVID-19 vaccination coverage has exceeded 205.22 (2,05,22,51,408) crore. This has been achieved through 2,72,07,336 sessions. So far, more than 3.92 (3,92,26,460) crore adolescents have been administered with the first dose of COVID-19 vaccine.
20,419 patients have recovered in the last 24 hours and the cumulative tally of recovered patients is now at 4,34,24,029. Consequently, India’s recovery rate stands at 98.50 per cent.
19,893 new cases and 53 deaths were reported in the last 24 hours. India’s active caseload currently stands at 1,36,478. Active cases now constitute 0.31 per cent of the country’s total positive cases.
The last 24 hours saw a total of 4,03,006 COVID-19 tests being conducted. India has so far conducted over 87.67 crore (87,67,60,536) cumulative tests. The weekly positivity rate in the country currently stands at 4.64 per cent and the daily positivity rate is reported to be 4.94 per cent.
