Realme 9 Pro+ 5G is going on sale in India for the first time today (February 21). The latest smartphone from Realme is going on sale in the country today at 12PM. Realme 9 Pro+ can be purchased in Aurora Green, Midnight Black, and Sunrise Blue colour options. The smartphone will be available online on Flipkart and Realme.com. As part of the launch offer, HDFC Bank customers will get an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on the smartphone. Realme 9 Pro+ 5G smartphone was recently launched in India along with Realme 9 Pro.. Realme 9 Pro+ 5G comes in three variants — 6GB+128GB priced at Rs 24,999, 8GB+128GB priced at Rs 26,999 and 8GB+256GB priced at Rs 28,999. As part of the launch offer, HDFC Bank customers will get an instant discount of Rs 2,000 on the smartphone. Buyers can also get 5% unlimited cashback on Flipkart Axis Bank credit card.
Realme 9 Pro+ 5G specifications
Realme 9 Pro+ 5G comes with a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with 1080×2400 pixel resolution. The display offers 90Hz refresh rate and is protected with a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 on top.
The smartphone is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 920 processor, paired with 6GB/8GB of RAM. The 5G-enabled smartphone comes in two storage options — 128GB and 256GB.
Realme 9 Pro+ 5G runs Android 12 operating system, topped with the company’s own layer of Realme UI. This the first Realme smartphone to come equipped with a heart-rate sensor. The company claims that the in-display fingerprint sensor of the smartphone includes a heart rate sensor, which promises to offer heart-rate detection and recording.
The smartphone sports a triple rear camera sensor, which comprises 50MP main sensor with f/1.8 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide angle lens with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP macro shooter. The main sensor on the Realme 9 Pro+ comes with a proprietary ProLight Imaging Technology that promises to offer better light intake. The sensor also increases the pixel size and promises to reduce the noise by 30%.
The handset also houses a 16MP front camera for selfies with f/2.4 aperture. The company claims that the smartphone comes with a Clear Fusion algorithm, which claims to capture well-lit selfies in low light.
Realme 9 Pro+ 5G houses a 4,500 mAh battery with 60W SuperDart fast-charging support.
