Samsung laptop coming to India! That too powered by Intel 12th Gen processor

Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 is coming to India as Samsung’s latest Windows laptop running on the 12th Gen Intel processors. Here are all the details.

Samsung is bringing its laptop to India soon! The Galaxy Book 2 Pro announced earlier for international markets is now coming to India, suggested by the latest teasers on Amazon. There’s no set date for the launch yet other than the “Coming Soon” tag. This is a convertible Windows laptop that comes with Samsung’s S Pen stylus and a 360-degrees hinge. Samsung also reveals that the laptop will rely on the Intel Evo platform, which means you can expect great battery life.

Samsung is usually not that active in the laptop segment but with the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360, it seems to make some changes. In the recent wake of smartphone brands jumping into the laptop space across all price points, it makes sense for Samsung to do the same, given that the company makes some of the nicest Windows and Chrome OS laptops in the world. No word on the pricing yet.

Samsung Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 features at a glance

The Galaxy Book 2 Pro comes in two sizes: 13.3-inch and 15.6-inch versions. The 360 model only gets a 360-degree hinge whereas the regular version skips that. All variants get as standard a 16:9 Full HD AMOLED touch display with HDR support, and brightness of up to 500nits. Users also get the new S Pen stylus with reduced latency inside the box. You also get a HD webcam in the conventional place.

All models rely on the 12th gen Intel Core processors. You can get it with core i5 and Core i7 processors paired along with an integrated Iris XE graphics. It gets up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage. And as expected, it comes with Windows 11.

The 13.3-inch model is equipped with a 63WHr battery, while the 15.6-inch variant comes with a slightly bigger 68WHr battery. Unlike its Galaxy smartphones, Samsung provides a 65W Type-C charger in the box. Samsung promises up to 21 hours of battery life on a single charge.

Connectivity options include a Thunderbolt 4 port, 2 x USB Type-C ports, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a microSD card slot. Along with Wi-Fi 6E and Bluetooth v5.1.

What remains to be seen is the pricing in India. Globally, the Galaxy Book 2 Pro takes on the likes of Apple’s 13-inch MacBook Air and MacBook Pro. Given that Samsung usually keeps its prices competitive, we could see the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 priced under Rs. 1 lakh. Keep an eye for all the updates here.
